Back to New York City for some "YAC" style cycling.

Doubling Up
This past weekend I completed 2 century rides, one on Friday alone and one on Sunday with another cyclist and the wind turned on us on the way back, which was frustrating because we thought we would have a tailwind on the way back in. No soreness at all either, maybe because I didn't push much power.

What to ride? What to race? Guru is our team's bike sponsor. Geneo is the most aero...Carbonio is the lightest
If Geneo...I will not go with the yellow wheels, yellow fork, and yellow bar tape. But I will use some of the team bike color.

Or Carbonio.........

Vote for you favorite

Should you ride, should you walk, or should you drive?
It takes less energy to bicycle one mile than it takes to walk a mile. In fact, a bicycle can be up to 5 times more efficient than walking. If we compare the amount of calories burned in bicycling to the number of calories an automobile burns, the difference is astounding. One hundred calories can power a cyclist for three miles, but it would only power a car 280 feet.
Also a cyclist's energy comes from renewable sources. Petroleum is not renewable.

Find a Ride in a city.
One thing I think that is great about cycling is that you can discover alot about a city on a bike that you won't normally see. Take your bike with you and stop being ordinary. Here's a link to find or add a ride in cities you live or travel to.

I am in in the money!
I am sitting here looking at my check made out for $30 for 3rd place in the Baptist TT series beginner..lol and I am going to be the soon recipient of another check from ProBike and I'm thinking, "This cycling thing is starting to payoff! Maybe I should go for the big money now!" Then I thought, "Nahhh.....I am paid well enough by the great rides, health, and relationships that I have built with cycling.

Nice Video...Nice Tune...Yes that's New York. I guess, you have to have really narrow handlebars to ride like this guy.
Do you really want to win?
